Business Model Innovation: Lesson Learned From EV Ecosystem In Indonesia

Abstract Although relatively developed in advanced countries, the electric vehicle (EV) industry Indonesia is still early stages of development. Designing a business model with an ecosystem perspective critical for relevant stakeholders because there are many uncertainties to be faced, including unclear structure industry. This study examines case how e-bus company creates by taking into account important role their ecosystem. Top management manufacturing and its parent were in-depth interviewed. The roles challenges regulators, battery manufacturers, assembly plants explored. practice creating models will compared applying literature. discussion focus on need focal value through approaching collaborating manufacturer, communication as innovations. findings this expected input actors sustaining development stage existing ecosystem, government or regulators.
